‘Beast from the East’ coming back for THIRD time as forecasters warn of a ‘White Easter’

Sick of this terrible weather? No? Ah, well then I have good news for you, because the ‘Beast from the East 3’ could be on its way just in time to ruin the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Fantastic.

Yup, we may not have had a white Christmas, but forecasters reckon we might be on for a white Easter, instead.

BBC weatherman Simon King tweeted this afternoon asking if anyone ‘likes trilogies’ before hinting at another return for the snowy weather that’s blasted the UK in recent weeks. And he even included a Ryan Reynold’s gif, so now he’s my favourite weatherman.

The Met Office’s medium range forecast says: “There remains some uncertainty in the forecast for the Easter Weekend, but we are likely to see slow moving weather systems across the UK, with wetter weather more probable in the south and with drier, colder conditions in the north – albeit with a risk of snow at times.”

And over on the Weather Outlook there was an additional indication that we haven’t seen the back of this enduring cold-snap just yet, with forecasts appearing to suggest that high-pressure could build as we near the end of the month.

Most places have just seen the last of the ‘Beast from the East 2’ – or the ‘Mini Beast from the East, as it was also dubbed – which arrived over the weekend, hitting the UK with more snow and plummeting temperatures.

However, parts of the UK have a yellow weather warning in place for ice over night, the Met Office tweeted to warn people to be careful while out and about as the melting snow is likely to turn to ice over night creating icy patches. Meaning I will 100 percent go arse over tit tomorrow.

The Met Office has said there’s a couple of frosty nights still in store for most of the UK, before milder weather on Thursday and Friday, which is something to look forward to, eh?

But, don’t get too excited, because it won’t be long before the ‘Beast from the East Mark Three’ is upon on – and if movie trilogies have taught us anything, it’s that there’s always a lot of action in the final installment
